The next few add-on releases will deal with end of life add-ons as well as Windows App Essentials stable version. To not overwhelm you with up to ten add-on releases in a single day, I will spread these releases over several days.
Object Location Tones and Office Desk (both end of life) 23.04 are now available:
Object Location Tones: available via Add-on Updater/community add-ons website update source
Office Desk: available via Add-on Updater/community add-ons website and add-on store update sources
As of this moment Office Desk is end of life from me. Although Object Location Tones is declared end of life from me, it now carries with it the code needed to play beeps for Windows Maps location controls; in reality, no code changes whatsoever as Object Location Tones add-on can play location beeps for various objects (including map controls) anyway – 23.04 makes this official. All I have to do now is remove location beeps code from Windows App Essentials add-on, to be done no later than late May via version 23.06. Please do let us know if you are interested in maintaining one of both of the end of life add-ons by no later than March 27, 2023.
