Hello there.

Has anybody tinkered with making certain types of excel charts speak? I am thinking of the easier stuff like bar graphs, or pie charts which tell percentage and could most likely be gotten via the data somehow.

Hello DC

There is audioCharts from Tony Malykh :
https://addons.nvda-project.org/addons/AudioChart.en.html

It does not give the audio from a chart nor spoken information, but gives an audio feedback from data series. However, I have always thought that it could be interesting to listen to a curve chart as Tony does with data series.
In fact, I use regularly a similar script to listen to data when working with Matlab. I did not try to port it to NVDA script in Excel since I do not use so much Excel and its charts.

Just some thoughts...

Cheers,

Cyrille
