Hello all,

my system:

I have only activ a appmodule addon (explorer.py) in the scratchpad folder
with this code:

class AppModule(appModuleHandler.AppModule):

def event_gainFocus(self, obj, nextHandler):
nextHandler()

On 3 systems I have no problem with this constellation. On my main system i
get permanently this error message:
error in appModule 'dllhost'

From the nvda.log:
error in appModule 'dllhost'

Can you explain to us why you're not inheriting from the NVDA's
built-in module for Windows Explorer?

Could you explain what you're trying to do - that would let us to help
you more effectively.

But, is this realy the reason form my problem?

Yes it is. You've overwritten the default appModule for Windows Explorer
with the one written by you so it is impossible to access classes from
the original appmodule. You're also losing all NVDA's enhancements to
Windows Explorer that way.

Rob

Hello Lukasz and Rui,

Thank you for your answers.

I have found the reason form me problem. The NVDA Setting

[UIA]
selectiveEventRegistration = True

is the problem.

@Rui: Thank you for your AddOn. Your code is very helpfull for my.

Thanks. Everythinks works now.

Regards
Rainer
