Add-on development guide for NVDA 2020.4 is being finalized. In 2020.4 edition:
Corrected spelling and punctuation issues.
Updated copyright year.
Python 3.7.9 will be the version to be used.
ui.message function intro now includes a note about an optional “brailleText” argument description, useful if speech and braille must say different things (source code credit: Julien and it came as a result of uniform clipboard announcement work).
Also, with NVDA 2021.1 edition of the Add-on Dev Guide, Python 2 code and statements will be minimized, and I propose removing Python 2 statements altogether in 2022.
