How to use the SettingsPanel

Edilberto Fonseca

Hi!

I'm trying to make my addon save the settings in an .ini file. However I am not succeeding in the studies, I would like to know the simplest way to do it.
Reading the codes of several addons that I have installed. I noticed that there are many ways to do it. My problem is that I have not been successful with them.

What I'm having trouble with is how to save the options after ok in the panel. Sorry if the text is not understandable.

Because I made the translation into English using instant translate. My language is Brazilian Portuguese.

Thanks in advance to those who can help me

Hello:

The reportPasswords add-on maintained by me is very simple, so maybe
useful to show a way to do it. If you use this procedure, settings
maybe changed for different configuration profiles, which generally
maybe useful:

Thank you very much, Noelia!

I will take a look. If in doubt, come back here.
