I don't think this is related to the add-on unless a file from the previous version of the add-on is being used by something. Try restarting NVDA and see if this gets resolved (in worst case, Place Markers may get removed). Cheers, Joseph -----Original Message-----

OK, so I updated to the one that Addon updater found. Now I'm getting this error message:

Thanks for your interest in placeMarkers. I sent this version to the community: I created pull request 407 in addonFiles repo so that the link to this version is posted on the the add-ons website at addons.nvda-project.org.
