A few days ago Noelia has been updating the WP last version link on the international add-on download page for me.
Since the update has already taken place, I had decided not to publish it, as it was only a small necessary change on the manifestBut I just want to thank she publicly.

Thanks Adriano. In fact, the change made in the manifest is very
important for users, since it ensures that Weather Plus doesn't bypass
the security mechanism introduced in NVDA, which makes possible to
ensure that add-ons not tested by developers when NV Access considers
that NVDA's changes are enough to cause probable issues in interaction
with not tested add-ons, will stop working. For example, if NVDA
2021.1 or its first beta is considered a "breaking changes" version,
users that have installed Weather Plus 7.7, when they update NVDA,
will notice that the add-on won't work untill you release a new
version, once you have tested it.
I know that they are people who share add-ons making them to work just
changing the manifest without informing to the original developer
(I've seen several cases), and this may not be a good practice.
