Re: NVDA and Excel 2016

Yes. These settings can be automatically applied through profile triggers. See section 11.4 for an overview of configuration profiles, and 11.4.4 specifically for triggers. Since you only want those settings enabled only for Excel, I'd create a trigger specifically for Excel and not web browsers.

Hello, turned on table and clumn settings but now I don't like that when i use a web browser. Any way to turn that off but still keep these settings for Excel? Thanks.

I'm a bit late chiming in, glad to hear you got it sorted out - what was the issue in the end?  (Might be useful for the next person who finds this thread and is having the same problem).

Also for anyone struggling with Excel, NV Access has "Microsoft Excel with NVDA" available individually or as part of the "NVDA Productivity Bundle" from the shop:

Kind regards

Do you have the settings for table announcement checked?
NVDA, Preferences, settings, document formating?

Whenever I try using Excel 2016 and I navigate using the arrow keys, I hear blank instead of column and row announcements. I am using the latest NVDA 2019.1.1 with all of my add-ons up to date. Any suggestions/help is appreciated, thanks.
