Re: Three notices and a call: February releases, Windows 10 21H2 requirement, calling for maintainers to maintain most of my add-ons, one final time
Hi, I expect the store won’t be ready in time for 2023.1. At the moment my plan is to discontinue Add-on Updater at least one release after the store makes its debut. For example, if the add-on store is indeed included in NVDA 2023.2 (unlikely but possible), then Add-on Updater will be discontinued shortly after 2023.3 is released. This is so that we can transition to using the add-on store, including Add-on Updater for folks using older NVDA releases for a while (although it will not be documented, things are put in place in Add-on Updater to switch to NV Access add-on store to access update information once NV Access declares the store ready for add-on submissions). Cheers, Joseph

Hi, Joseph, Thanks for all your hard work. Thank you for all you bring to the NVDA community. The add-on store has been on the topic for several years, and as Cyrille said, I really don't have the confidence to see it in the next few releases. Thanks |
