The recent spate of messages all start with a long, distinctive phrase:  Recent Commits to addonFiles:master

This in itself is a problem. The main audience on this list is screen reader users, and it is suboptimal to have such a long string prefixed to lots of similar subject lines.

/There are also many other ways to cut down on the traffic you receive from any Groups.io group, but none of them would work in this case because these messages have unique endings after the above noted lead-in phrase. Still, far too few users take advantage of the exquisite level of control that Groups.io gives to e-mail participants when compared to other email list providers:
